Manufacturer OEM ('genuine') or identical parts
These are parts supplied to us directly by the platform constructor or branded items from the manufacturer of the part used by them. We stock a wide range of OEM parts from Genie and other manufacturers and will always supply these as a preference if pricing levels permit or when customers request 'genuine'. All structural items supplied are OEM parts. Due to our status as official UK Genie Approved Parts Provider along with the huge buying machine power of the Vertimac Group we are very competitive on most manufacturers' original items so if you do require OEM parts let us know and we will quote accordingly.
Platform Parts Aftermarket
In many cases our aftermarket parts are of equal quality to OEM parts, and sometimes better! Our aftermarket parts are equivalent in function and longevity but made by a third part supplier to provide lower cost, 'plug-and-play' replacements. Ideal for older machines or where the cost of OEM parts are excessive, the parts are subjected to rigorous evaluation and testing and carry a 12 or even 24 month warranty. If you choose Platform Parts aftermarket you can be reassured that we won't supply any parts unless we are fully satisfied with the quality - all supported by our 'no-quibble' replacement policy in the event of a genuine failure within the warranty period.

Commonly used, non-safety critical parts are sourced from third party manufacturers with the aim of selling to customers at the most economical price possible. we have a large number of suppliers and choose those who offer the best quality but are able to keep prices at low levels thanks to our high volume orders. You may find other suppliers can beat our price on individual items but we stock these so that all your parts needs can be met with a single order and shipment, next day and from our own warehouse
