Manufacturer 'genuine' or 'OEM' parts
These are parts supplied to us by the platform manufacturer, either directly or via their exclusive UK importer. We stock a wide range of Genie OEM parts as well as from many other manufacturers and will always supply these as a preference if pricing levels permit or when customers require. All structural items supplied are OEM parts. If you do require OEM parts please make sure we are aware and will quote accordingly
Aftermarket parts
In many cases our aftermarket parts are not only of equal quality to OEM parts, they are actually the same part but unbranded and obtained directly from the component supplier who provide them tor the platform manufacturer. Some aftermarket parts are of similar quality but made by a third part supplier to provide lower cost, 'plug-and-play' replacements. We supply these primarily for older machines or where the cost of OEM parts are excessive - but we won't supply any parts of which we are not fully satisfied with the quality
Commodity parts
Commonly used, non-safety critical parts are sourced from third party manufacturers with the aim of selling to customers at the most economical price possible. we have a large number of suppliers and choose those who offer the best quality but are able to keep prices at low levels thanks to our high volume orders. You may find other suppliers can beat our price on individual items but we stock these so that all your parts needs can be met with a single order and shipment, next day and from our own warehouse
New, Old-Stock (NOS) parts
We are always ready to purchase surplus, unused parts from manufacturers, distributors and engineers. These can be invaluable to owners and either represent a useful cost saving over the new price or even the only way to keep older machines running when parts are obsolete and no longer available new. Typically these NOS parts may be shop-soiled or in damaged packaging but will be in good working condition. If a NOS part does not function correctly on delivery we will refund the cost if returned to us but we may be unable to supply a replacement if it is the only one available.
